Kudos to @lookingfortransparency for petitioning @agrobbonta for transparency & legal consequences for the unlawful fundraising of Alexandra Grant from 2008 to 2021.

According to an article from @wwd written by @boothmoore published on 4/28/2020, Alexandra Grant started the grantLOVE project in 2009 & has raised more than $225,000 for charities. Raising money for charities without registering with the Attorney General office is unlawful and Grant received a notice in May 2021 and was forced to register and received her registration effective 6/28/2021. Every fundraising prior to that date is unlawful, has no transparency or accountability.

Grant’s unlawful activities coupled with her lies in interviews and on her resume about grantLOVE being a non-profit resulted in people calling her a fraud. Grant filed a restraining order claiming that her critics were one person.
Grant has received her second notice of incomplete from Mr. Bonta for her annual financial report charity with OCMA due to missing campaign dates. Her fundraising with OCMA was illegal because it was prior to grantLOVE being registered.
I support the demand for transparency. Alexandra Grant has been proven to be a dishonest person without a moral compass. The OCMA fundraising and the $225,000 raised since 2009 occurred before grantLOVE was registered. What are the legal consequences of this?
What are the legal consequences of accusing her critics of being a convicted felon, then using this false accusation to get the LAPD to subpoena account info because she wants to know the identity of people exposing her fraud.
In America, free press is an essential check & balance but when the media prints the lies of Alexandra Grant without checking, it is up to us to demand the truth. It is up to us to call her out on manipulating the court as a revenge against every person who exposed her fraud & lies.
