Responding to Ed Solomon

In response to your tweet on 11/5/2019, we are NOT flummoxed by Keanu Reeves being in a long-term relationship with a wonderful woman. There is nothing we want more for him than to be in a long-term relationship with a “wonderful” woman (man or transgender). We put no restriction on his happiness. We are baffled by the media circus that began in June 2019 at the YSL fashion show with the awkward hand-holding, the emptiness in Keanu’s eyes and a photo of them seated with Ms. Grant’s manly hand on top of his, which displayed a cheap ring and the implication of an engagement. The narrative of a relationship was taking shape and a blind person couldn’t miss it.

Long-term fans know what Keanu eyes look like when he is enamored with a woman. We saw none of it with Ms. Grant. On the contrary, he seemed to avoid looking directly at her face, at the YSL event and the LAMCA event.

Keanu has always been very private about those he dates so when we are bombarded with a high amount of paparazzi photos, we see something fishy on the horizon. We had a wonderful two months of break from Keanu's paparazzi walk with Ms. Grant while he was filming Bill and Ted. If you were to believe that they were in a relationship for a while at that point, wouldn’t there have been a conjugal visit and you would have met her in person and not only heard wonderful things from people you know who know her?

The drama of Ms. Grant resumed when Keanu returned to L.A. and then flew to Japan to promote JW4 with an entourage. Ms. Grant "accidentally" posted a photo of this very private man on her Instagram account, which was later taken off, but it was enough to hint that they were in Japan together. Any woman that Keanu was dating would not invade his privacy as she did.

In truth, we are perplexed by this Keanu that we are seeing since June of this year and the paparazzi walks on a weekly basis that always COINCIDED with an art opening or some event that Ms. Grant is involved in. Needless to say, some of us are believing it is a media circus to promote her arts and their publishing company, which is the very definition of a vanity press. It was created to showcase his writing and her arts. There are stories that Ms. Grant is the one calling the paparazzi and letting them know where to find them on these “outings”. I am inclined to believe the rumor as I see a paparazzi video where Ms. Grant walked slower than a 90-year-old woman to make sure that the paparazzi has plenty of time to take pictures and as they are driving away, she rolled down her window and look directly at the camera.

That’s the things with hearing things from other people, stories can get sticky. As fans around the world began to share stories since June 2019, none of them concerning Ms. Grant are flattering, stories of being rude to hotel and restaurant staff, stories of artists who refused to work with her because they don’t consider her a real artist, and a story about a woman who ended her friendship with Ms. Grant because Ms. Grant asked her to call the paparazzi to help get her love story with Keanu out to the world. There are stories of Ms. Grant as a ruthless social climber, kissing up to people who can help her and having a fluid sexuality, being a lesbian when it serves her purpose or a heterosexual when that serves her better. A changling at its best.

Interesting enough, Ms. Grant is friend with a “branding specialist.” I have to say this is branding at its best. Whether Keanu is dating her or not, a narrative was created, and the stories are pure genius, age-appropriate, a gray-haired woman, comfortable in her own skin, an artist with a vision and a philanthropist. If that’s all you know, how could you not be happy for Keanu? But we know better… A philanthropist with nothing to show for and a true philanthropist would not brag. Prior to these new articles coming out, when you search Ms. Grant and her charity work, the word “shady” would best describe it. In June 2019, Ms. Grant barely had a few thousand followers on her Instagram account but now that we are bombarded daily with stories of their love, a story that has yet to be confirmed by his PR team, her followers have increased to 57,000. If we are to believe the story we are being fed, it is a love story that transcends tragedy because she is the woman that healed his broken heart. It was not enough for Ms. Grant to be associated with Keanu as his friend and business partner, but she needs to be known as the woman who healed his broken heart. The words narcissist, delusion of grandeur and energy vampire have been given to with Ms. Grant by people who have met her. If you were to believe these articles, Keanu has been alone, broken, and lonely for 35 years. But we know better. We have seen him with different women over the years with the look of a man walking on cloud nine, but that man has not been seen with Ms. Grant...

We have heard that phrase, if we are his true fan, we would be happy for him. DAMN right, we would be happy for him if he IS happy. We are concerned the narrative of a loving couple does not match with the look in his eyes. We wonder if he is participating in a MEDIA CIRCUS that goes against his own integrity and moral compass. He seems to have aged considerably within these past few years which coincide with his closer proximity to Ms. Grant. Just because we are fans does not mean we cannot disagree with his decisions. Your fans love you for a reason and when your actions show a different person, a different side, a side that is playing a media game, we are disappointed...

Fans around the world are praying for his happiness, continued successes, and well-being. He seems to be experiencing the dark night of the soul. Know that you are in our prayers, Keanu. Wake up. Live your truth. Be with a woman you can't keep your eyes off of... A woman who respects your need for privacy. A woman as stealthy as a ninja and when the paparazzi try to take her picture, she disappears into the shadow and we won't even know if her hair is black, brown or red until you are ready to show her to the world. She is age-appropriate and looks her age. She is not the prettiest one in the room but she glows with integrity and humility and you are mesmerized by her inner light... This is what your true fans wish for you!
