Dear Ms. Morton as you said in this article that many mischaracterized this quote I do not think you considered that a lot of his fans are not native English speakers. So it is possible they didn't understand it. We have followers from all over the world and many of them know some English but not a lot. Also, forgive me if I'm wrong but words used in the quote could confuse anyone. "Your story is completely false" the word completely is a synonym for entirely. That would me everything from start to finish in the article is a lie. From the start it mentioned them as boyfriend and girlfriend and ended with them being engaged. Although, I too think it was just about the engagement, but none of us know for sure. It could have easily confused someone and made them think that all of the information given was false and that includes the relationship as a whole.
