Copyright Infringement

 One of the photos from my post from April 7, 2020 was deleted because the owner, Alexandra Grant Artist fanpage reported it as infringing their copyright. These are the same people who are always reposting photos from @dan.lautsen, Halle Berry, Michelle Obama and other people with implication that these people support their idol, Alexandra Grant. The irony of people who steal photos from a photographer complaining about copyright infringement is not lost on me. I have redded out the faces for privacy purpose, but these photos have been shared far and wide, including Lipstick Alley.

 
I also think that my post fall under the fair right use with the purpose of being informative for the public. These ladies hosted a public book event with fliers sent out to the public to attend so here, I was posting a shoutout for their effort and hard work, but they reported me for copyright infringement.  Strange!!! Aren’t they working hard promoting Alexandra Grant the fraud for acknowledgement & fame? I thought they were. My apology if I am wrong, but they have also made it to the blind item posted in Crazy Days Crazy Nights by @entylawyer – Again, if that wasn’t their purpose, well, they are doing something wrong. If it is their reason for running the fan page, they should be proud of being acknowledged in CDAN and in my shout out.

One interesting thing to note though, the Alexandra Grant Artist fanpage email has the phrase keanureevetheclub in it. This was given to me by Instagram to contact them directly to discuss the infringement. Again, fair use for education.

Let’s be honest, they aren’t reporting me because of infringement. They reported me because I have exposed them as fanatics who are willing to do whatever to meet Keanu Reeves which includes running multiple account for Alexandra Grant to make her seems like a worthy artist with fans but in reality, they are Keanu Reeves’ obsessed fans willing to do whatever it takes to meet him. The email associated with the account prove it.
