This interesting photo and quotes was sent to me and the person who sent it made this statement along with it, “Ali Wong is in a very male dominated business - stand up comedy. For her last two comedy tours she has been pregnant. She is bad-ass and would not give a damn if someone told her not to show up pregnant.”
Between the two quotes, you see the difference between a woman @ aliwong who has made it on her own terms in a male dominated industry, who was doing something she loves as compared to Alexandra Grant who has always used other people to be known, dead and alive, plagiarizing Bruce Conner's work, using baby Lena for a documentary, using baby Ava to sell herself to the tabloids as the woman who saved Keanu Reeves, misusing the Newman brand of charity, misusing and cheapening the quote of Antigone for profit. Using a man and a relationship status for promotion while claiming to be feminist is ironic.

From the same person for the feminist thought series. This is an reenactment. The difference is glaring. Coming from Ali Wong, a strong, independent, talented woman, there is equality and true collaboration. Coming from Alexandra Grant, the talentless scam artist, there is manipulation and deception. These are NOT real quotes but they are close to the perceived truth of what took place when Grant talks about her "collaboration" with Keanu Reeves or the reasons they opened the publishing company, X Artists Books. She can brag and act like she is an innovation businesswoman all she wants, but the truth is, it's a vanity press created to publish her book because no one else would publish it. The company was meant to give her an easy income using Keanu Reeves' name. Although, it doesn't look like the plan pan out, thus, the need for months of salacious tabloid articles that get more outrageous so her "love" business in the guise of charity donation can take off and also get people to talk about future scheme.
Only people without talent and merit would count on gossip media and paid-for PR articles written by muck-rack writers for promotion and so many articles praising Grant are written by muck-rack writers.

The person is providing two things to consider. The article from WWD raves about Alexandra Grant’s “refreshed design” necklace arriving just in time for Mother's Day:
https://wwd.com/fashion-news/fashion-scoops/l-a-artist-alexandra-grant-designs-love-necklaces-for-charity-1203623214/
Yet, there is no photo of Grant’s mom or anyone’s mom in this article. The photos in the article are a photo of the necklace and a photo of Grant and Reeves from November 2019 at the LACMA event. This is a blatant attempt at merchandising mercenary and marketing blitz.
The article perpetuates Alexandra Grant’s core story of “being a meaningless irrelevant without the shadow of a man” so she uses this article and the opportunity to remind the world again “I am Keanu Reeves’ GF and I am a philanthropist, buy my necklace so I have money to donate.” The second point to note is that the necklace also appeared to violate the Cartier lawsuit agreement. I'm providing a link for people to review and share your insight.

Reposting an old post for the feminist series which was created by an insightful person. Feminist thought #4 for everyone to ponder.
The Vision for the Watts House Project was “to focus on the renovation of existing housing, including the improvement of residential landscaping by partnering families with artists and architects and to reduce the ecological footprint, maintenance and operating costs of area properties.” Grant saw this as an opportunity to splash her caged LOVE logo and gain recognition. Ego should have been left out of the equation for the greater good – it was an artistic endeavor not a narcissistic endeavor.
