Beautiful with Curve

 Reposting the words of @salmaelwardany for those who need it. I discover her account a few years ago when she liked a poem I wrote and shared on Instagram. I love the content on her page and I am inspired by it. She is a beautiful woman with beautiful curves. She loves her body and is proud of her curves and scars, the soft and hard parts. She has the soul of a warrior poet. She talked about scars that I, too, carry. I understand her pain and joy despite being of different religion, despite being from different part of the world. We share the struggle of being a woman. We share the scars that make us beautiful. We share the pain of loss, the pleasure of love. We share the strength of being woman. We share the joy of fighting oppression with a smile on our face and a tender heart. We fight like Kali and love like Aphrodite. We look good in sari and in bikini.
