Keanu Reeves is on the list of 25 greatest actors in the 21st century. I was a fan so I'll admit there are a few roles that he was good at, roles that don't require emoting or too many lines. The Matrix. John Wick. My favorites are Wedding Destination (there were lots of lines in this role) and The Gift. Reeves was quite natural, scary, and convincing as a nasty violent redneck.
There are 90% of roles where he is cringe-worthy to watch. I thank god that the role of the Passengers went to Chris Pratt. I love that movie and I love Pratt. Reeves would have royally fucked it up.
A role that I think Reeves would be good at is the role of a man pining for 20 years over the death of lost love and a stillborn baby. It can be milked to portray an image of tragedy while hiding a dark trait Yes, I do think he will be great playing that role. Quick someone, write a script for it and cast him before it's too late.
Keanu Reeves' best role is the role of the nicest, humblest man in Hollywood but it is contrary to the man who hired a powerful trial attorney for the restraining order of his "girlfriend," Alexandra Grant, against a 68-year old woman living in a low-income housing and suffering from mental illness. If there were genuine fear and evidence to support it, I don't see the need to hire a powerful trial attorney. The evidence would have spoken for itself and Alexandra Grant would have won without that amount of money spent. Now I wonder what is the nicest man hiding?
I was taught to never wish for ill things to happen to anyone as it is a sure way to hell. There comes a time in life when we sacrifice ourselves for others and I do think this is the time to meet the devil and ask him why Alexandra Grant and Keanu Reeves are getting away with their scam, using their money to destroy the life of a mentally ill, delusional old woman who is a fan of his.
My prayer has been said and I look forward to looking the devil in the eyes. I wonder if Reeves and Grant are ready for the consequences of their actions. It is coming in the form of fire and dragon, crash and burn, and feeding tubes
