What Donation?

SurrealKoala in Lipstick Alley made a perceptive observation regarding Alexandra Grant and her “charity donation.” In short, SurrealKoala asks “Did you notice that AG didn't post any follow-ups whatsoever after the Frieze event? How much $$$ was raised at Frieze for charity? Was it a success? Why didn't she thank any of her fans, followers, supporters for coming out to Frieze? (Remember Watts House Project? Same story)

Compare Grant's silence regarding Frieze with her "love bombing" of Gwyneth Paltrow and all her new celeb friends on IG immediately after that Goop event. It's crystal clear where her priorities are.” --- Priority seems to be smooching with Celebs, not act of charity.

To recap, her post on January 27, 2020: “Through the sale of hoodies, prints, beach towels and other grantLOVE editions, we are able to make gifts of both artworks and direct donations to organizations. Alexandra’s stance is that love is an approach to self-acceptance, a right to be practiced as individuals see fit, and a responsibility to love those different than ourselves, interlacing and weaving together people and communities.” --- To me, this is just a fancy way of saying, buy what I sell and I will donate a portion to charity but as others have previously pointed out, we do not know what this “portion” is. Isn't she just using the word charity to sell her products and “charity” is an afterthought?

#alexandragrant#grantalexandra #grantloveproject #grantlove #charity vs. #celebrity #keanureeves – this is the kind of person you are supporting??? #prscam
