Art for Profit

For those who do not see depth, beauty, heart, soul or meaning in Alexandra Grant's painting, this quote explains why. If Grant actually believes that we were all "born to love not to hate," she is clueless about the world we live in, human nature, and what we are capable of. She chooses to focus on love because it's easy to sell. She is only concerned about selling and profiting, not making art or something valuable that speaks about our current state or ways to transcend them so there is nothing to feel from her art.

We are born to EXPERIENCE everything, love, hate, anger, disappointment, betrayal, pain and learn to transcend them. Antigone defies her uncle and we only reject something we are against, disagree with, or HATE. When you fight injustice, your actions become noble so NO, we are NOT born to love and not hate. We are born to fight injustice and all of us are faced with opportunity to do what is right but first, we have to admit that injustice is wrong and we hate to see people being abused and hurt, then we speak up against it. We have to hate what is wrong with the world and society before we can transcend it and love it.

This is missing from her arts. The contrast of emotions. The true nature of love and hate. The tension of overcoming hate to find love and forgiveness. We are born into a world that needs a lot of forgiving but Grant only focuses on what is easy to sell because for her, it's about using people to profit, dead or alive, Antigone or Keanu Reeves.

Every account and person speaking out against Alexandra Grant is the real Antigone. We are fighting against a scam artist who pretends to understand love while creating art without soul trying to gain fame and fortune at all costs, using manipulations and deceptions and comparing herself to a Greek heroine.
