When Alexandra Grant joined the Watts House project and was assigned a home, her idea is to put HER caged love logo on the roof. This was structurally unsound according to the architect.

The community was concerned that her logo would distract from the Watts Towers. Alexandra Grant’s proposal is pure narcissism, delusional, self-serving and as usual, she was trying to steal focus and in this case from something that has been labeled as a historical landmark, a beautiful mosaic art that took a period of 33 years to complete.
While making herself seems philanthropic by reporting on the money she has collected from her love in a cage trademarked jewelry, the project remains incomplete 12 years later. I called BS on her claim as a philanthropist. This is a gimmick to market herself as an artist, philanthropist, and a business woman selling craps through her LLC business venture registered under her name.
