Public Accountability

A few of you sent me Alexandra Grant's post on her account and X Artists Books Instagram account on the topic of PUBLIC ACCOUNTABILITY. Definition of public accountability: Obligations of public enterprises and agencies (who are entrusted with public resources) to be answerable for fiscal and social responsibilities, to those who have assigned such responsibilities to them.

Her post is about public accountability as it related to public enterprises and agencies, but that phrase can be used on a personal level. Public accountability is equivalent to personal responsibility and accountability.

For each and everyone of us who has chosen to demand transparency and accountability from Alexandra Grant's regarding her self-imposed title as a “philanthropist”, we are engaging in PUBLIC ACCOUNTABILITY.

We are letting her know that buying PR articles to present herself as a philanthropist and someone that promotes the concept of being born to love when her actions showed otherwise will not go unchallenged. Lying on her resume. Lying in interviews. Claiming to found a woman organization she did not found. Claiming to have raised $60,000 for a house project in Watts to improve the lives of a black family and there isn't anything to show for it after 12 years, except for her continuous bragging. These actions are despicable and we are publicly demanding accountability.
