In the post, I discuss the voodoo apple that Grant posted on her IG account on February 16, 2017 and her effort in #branding her arts and merchandise with “love.” The apple was posted two days after Valentine and she captioned it, “At the crossroads of voodoo and college-age technology #foundsculpture.” Some people has commented that it is an apple bong, but other has pointed out that apple bong does not need needles sticking on it. Grant herself captioned it “voodoo.” In my original post, I asked “Was it made for Valentine, for any specific purpose, like a love spell?” I also state that the voodoo apple negates her narrative of being a “spiritual and sensitive artist” which has been repeatedly used to describe her in various articles. No one would associate the term "spiritual and sensitive" with voodoo. Ms. Grant also enjoyed watching YouTube videos about Twin Flame, tarot cards, how to make money through relationship and she has saved many videos that came out about her being Keanu Reeves rumored girlfriend, but yes, she did delete them when people questioned what it all means, pointing out that it seems narcissistic and self-serving like a get rich scheme selling herself as a love object of a celebrity, then branding her business with the word “love”. Unfortunately for Grant, there are screenshots of this embarrassing hobby posted in IG and in YT.
I also comment that love and voodoo does not go together and her effort to #brand herself with the word love seem hypocritical. Voodoo is not love. Voodoo is manipulative. It seems like Grant is manipulating a narrative about a love that doesn't exist, branding something she has no understanding of and now she is a guest speaker at an Evangelist Christian University, #azusapacificuniversity. Seem very ironic and hypocritical to me… or maybe APU is very a forward-thinking school and see nothing wrong with voodoo or apple bong.
