Alexandra Grant - Wired to be Fake

Alexandra Grant is talking about a school project at the age of eight, reporting on Hitler and what does she means when she said we're born a certain way, like we're wired from birth in a certain way? Is her confession about creating a fake newspaper also a confession that her whole life is fake? Her idea of love is fake? She is FAKE?

We know certain accomplishments on her resume were fake.

Special thanks to the person who extracts the video and the person who transcribes it.

"We were supposed to make a newspaper article. So, I of course, was like “cool a newspaper article”. My best friend at this time was like Sophie "you’re going to write three articles about this and we’re going to draw these drawings and one was Hitler was found alive.” I was eight. And I made a masthead and we laid the whole newspaper out I made my mom drive us to the only photocopier that had newsprint in Mexico City and we literally handed in a newsprint, fake newspaper that we made when we were eight. And every other kid in my class handed in a piece of notebook paper. And my teacher, this was in my report card, was A++++, question mark, question mark. Not sure what to do with you? And my mom was like “I think you’ve just been doing this.” So like there’s a sense too of, I think we’re born a certain way, like we’re wired from birth in a certain way.'
