Where's all the Money?

The article by @suebellyank written on April 9, 2012 called in Defense of the Watts House was an interesting read and eyes opening.

@suebellyank - Could you shed some light for us regarding the Love House and the money that was collected for it? In the LA Time article “Watts House under fire,” it states that Alexandra Grant, the artist assigned to Love House, has raised $32,000 for the Love House.

In a recent article, Ms. Grant is now claiming to have raised $60,000 for the renovation.

She also received $25,000 from the California Community Fund:

The Love House is still under construction and it was taken over by Fulcrum Art and they are still soliciting donations for it.

With this amount of money raised and the house not being complete and donation still being solicited, this all seems very shady to me. If you can shade any light on this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
